


Syed Hasnain Ali is the founder of HY group of companies. He also served as the group’s first CEO. Hasnain belongs to one of the most illustrious business families of Pakistan the “Ali” family. The Ali family has been a reliable joint venture partner for leading multinationals like Tetra Pak and Nestle among others. Hasnain is a graduate in Communication and Business Studies from the University of Buckingham. He is a serial entrepreneur and believes in having a diversified business portfolio run by dynamic business professionals. Hasnain is a certified director from the Pakistan institute of corporate governance and also serves on the board of listed companies like ZIL limited.
Badar Tauqeer is the Co-Founder of the HY group of companies and is the current CEO of Paperclip and Ink factory. Badar studied medicine as a student from Sims in Lahore, Pakistan. However it was the business side of his father’s clinic that interested him the most. He has been particularly astute in setting up the group’s supply chain network for its diverse business including Magnus. He is the youngest ever Senior Vice Chairman of the Pakistan association off Print and Graphic Art Industry.
Qaiser Kharal joined the group in 2016 as the CEO of Magnus. Qaiser studied Marketing and Merchandising from La Salle College, Montreal, Canada. Qaiser also holds a master’s degree in Finance and Marketing. Qaiser was an integral member of the team at LI and Fung’s head office in Lahore, Pakistan. He was responsible for Merchandising and managing supply chain for the company. Whilst at Li and Fung, Qaiser managed important key accounts such as Ecko Unlimited, G unit Clothing and Zoo York. Qaiser is a diligent quality oriented leader who aims to make Magnus one of the leading sewing units in Pakistan.
Imran Ashfaq has a career spanning over 30 years in managing production at export oriented textile units. His experience coupled with a detailed oriented approach have made him an invaluable asset at Magnus since the company’s formation.
Li De Yan has recently joined Magnus as a quality control manager. He brings with him a wealth of experience in producing export quality products in Shanghai China. Li’s biggest asset is his deep understanding of the entire production process, as till recently he was running his own sewing unit.
